Administration and Laws: Business - Finance NOTES:  Nick Michels posts the final hood budget for Round 2006.  What a round it was!  We faced bankruptcy and pulled ourselves out of the red by having a successful fundraiser.  Thanks again to all who participated!  The current balance shows what we're entering Round 2008 with.

Under the main hood budget, you will see that Julien Cooke posted the Round 2006 ending budget for the SH Credit Union & Simology Office.  This office gives charity to those in need of emergency funds.  A family can only apply once a simyear.

Round 2008 will also start with some changes.  I'm sorry to say that I will not be continuing the "How We Livin'" Tours, nor the "Street Tours" anymore.  It is just too much work to keep up with, and my goal this round is to get updates posted faster and more continuously.  The current tours posted will stay in place, but I won't be adding to them.  I have to admit, this is something I truly enjoyed doing, because I love to decorate.  Working with their preferences gives me a challenge and I like to show how I accomplished that...but it's not realistic for me to keep up with; seeing as how the hood is growing so fast now.  We've got several new Sims moving into the hood this Round 2008.  But, hey...you can always read their journals to find out how they are living.  *smiles*  I hope that readers will understand and thanks so much for your support.

November 8, 2009:

Journals:  Posted a "Mommies To Be" thread for all the pregnant Sims in the hood right now.

November 7, 2009:

Calendar:  Just a small change to the calendar.  Filled in some spots with upcoming mini-updates, and switched a couple things around; nothing major.  *the Spencer Farm planting/harvests is not always going to be a posted update.  It's more or less a reminder to me  to go there and get it done. lol!

I'm setting up everything for this next rotation in-game...like transitioning pregnancies to the next trimester.   The game is crashing on me in the clothes catalog.  When I tried to turn to another page to find an everyday outfit, it crashed and I got that notice.  I've never been able to get through all the pages of a clothing category..like all the way to the end of the Maxis clothes.  It always crashes.  ??

I just loaded Bodyshop (takes a good 45 mins. to an hour to load) and deleted some meshes without recolors/recolors without meshes, I didn't see but one...I deleted all those little cache files that sit in the Sims 2 folder, and the CASthumbnail...so I hope this helps and I can get back into the swing of things soon.  This is exhausting.

November 4, 2009:

**The new Round 2008 will start soon.  A tentative calendar will be posted as well.  I've been busy recoloring custom orders for SimCity Furniture online.  As soon as I'm finished with this last order, I'll get started on the new rotation.  There are several new Sims moving into The Hills over the next couple of simyears.  I'm excited!   **

October 5, 2009:

I've decided to move all Simologies to the Blogger Journal also.  They will be called Sim Profiles and listed under Index of Sim Profiles found under Simmington Hills Links.  Full credit goes to Sullivan Sims for this idea.  I just love the way I can click to see who the author, Carla, is talking about when she links her journals to her Sim Profiles.  I've been linking to my Simologies here, but the main problem I have with Webs is that I have to set up different web pages to host my Simologies.  I've already got three different web pages hosting my Simologies right now (a shortcut I've been using ).  To tell you the truth its hard to keep up with it all, and each free web page only holds 20 entries.  This way, I won't have to worry about it anymore.  Everything will be in one place.  Finances - Head of Household information will be removed.  I can keep track of this in my own notes.  Family Trees will also be removed.
