Meeting:  September, Fall 2007

All members attended the 1st meeting held at Tomika Cunningham's house.  The topic was to pick a food that would be highlighted each month and post a popular recipe featuring this particular food.  The group tossed around a lot of ideas.  Sergio was most interested in picking foods that no one had ever heard of.

"Oh, I think we should pick Boursin!  It's delicious!"

"What is that?" The group chimed in.

"It's a CHEESE!" Sergio gasped in shock.

Tomika then came up with something everybody knows about.

"I think we should keep it simple for our first project, then down the line we could also think seasonally...So, how about eggs this time around?"

And after looking through the cookbook, talking about prior successes and failures with egg recipes, they came up with A Number One Egg Bread.

Viv surprised everyone with the news about her pregnancy.  She let them all know how much she's been eating eggs lately.

"I dream about eggs, I love them so much right now. They've also given me the most terrible gas...but, I'll be sure to make this recipe and let ya'll know how it turned out."

FENSA

Fensa was founded in Aldaleigh (this affiliate website is no longer available), on the last day of spring by Heinz Einstein, a retired Mad Scientist and Servo designer. The society is for sims who know everything about everything. The aim of the society is to encourage sims to appreciate and seek knowledge of all varieties, to recognize sims that have accumulated vast amounts of knowledge and to find ways that extraordinarily intelligent sims can benefit their communities. The society welcomes sims from all the Sims United Neighborhoods, regardless of age or cultural differences.

Fensa; the word reminds us of the pivotal moment when we realize how to overcome the hurdles that keep us from reaching our full potential. Fence?!...ah! Let the fence symbolize the barrier that keeps you from greener pastures and experience the joy of knowing that you really are smarter than your neighbor.

The Fensa Society is open to all sims that have achieved a level of 10 in all 7 skills. If you know of such exceptional sims in your neighborhood..."  please email FENSA at
simmingtonhills@hotmail.com to apply.

Green Lipz

Members must have a strong interest in the Environment (9 or 10), and wear the hypo-allergenic 'green lipstick' to each meeting. This group plans to promote a clean and healthy environment at all times, and protest the outrageous...like fining for leaves.

Meeting:  October, Fall 2007

All members attended the meeting held at JMWise's house.  The main topic was to figure out ways to improve Simmington Hills' environment in small ways that give huge results.

Honey Michels called the meeting, throwing a glance at Cameron for him to be quiet.

Everybody looked at Cameron.  He was being a bit disruptive at the beginning...like he'd been drinking.

Jacques brought up the idea to clean up the front of The Cage Nightclub.  If his band ever hoped to get Sims to come out and see them, the garbage has got to go.

He said it won't take the whole group.  He knew most of them had work or school.  Just one other Sim to help him pick it all up and sweep.

Vivienne volunteered to go with Jacques and clean up the mess.

So they went the next day and did everything they could to make the place look and smell better.  It wasn't easy.  Vivienne had a hard time dealing with the pungent smells.  But after a couple hours, everything was nice enough for patrons to come and enjoy themselves.

Soccer

An honorable sport of speed and cunning strategy.  Soccer is a wonderful way to keep in shape and gear young men and women towards successful endeavors.  Keith Dalton teaches focus and the importance of meeting goals.  This club meets at the Magnolia Fields Soccer Park, or at Member's homes if the weather is not permitting for outdoor games.

Members:

Keith Dalton, President - Fall 2007

 Marchon Cunningham

 Steve VanHouten

 Christina Wise

Meeting:  September, Fall 2007

Keith Dalton and Marchon Cunningham met up at Magnolia Fields Soccer Park to get some practice in before Winter hits the scene.  Marchon dedicated his field goal to his girlfriend, Mary. :P

At the end of September (and surprisingly too cold for another outdoor practice!), Steve VanHouten, CPS Secondary Teacher, expressed an interest in joining the Soccer Club.  He invited Keith and Marchon over to his house to get to know them better and talk about some of the things they've done so far.
